Much has taken place and much more is to come very soon!  I am back to painting in the gallery/studio and loving every minute of it.   I will soon have two new instructional DVDs ready for market and the new show will be hitting the air in late January or mid February!

Gallery welcomes customers!

March 23, 2010

We are back in the gallery most days of the week now!  The snow is gone and there is no longer just a snow trail to the front door.  In order to keep things interesting and the business going I have been offering to my best clients the opportunity to “make me an offer” on work currently in the gallery.  It has been a fun and rewarding experience.  I have to clear some wall space to prepare for the new work I am busy with.  I am very excited about the direction my art is taking and feel that it is becoming more and more dramatic and clear with my message.

Gallery update

February 15, 2010

The Acorn Gallery has been closed for much of January and February because of the mounds of snow and ice which continue to fall on Ashe County.  Though it is beautiful, it makes travel treacherous.  However, purchasing art online is still convenient and available as well as leaving a message on the phone for an appointment or a question.  Even on days we are not open we check messages, return calls and process orders.  Besides, we know better than anyone that a new work of art adorning your wall can bring renewal and fresh energy into your home or office!

For those of you who are interested in ordering from the Acorn Gallery on our December 5 Open House please note that your 15% discount will be figured into your total when the gallery posts your transaction, so please disregard the total amount which will show on your secure site checkout! If you would like to mail a check to us, you may go ahead and figure your 15% discount in the check total, but do be sure that the check is postmarked December 5.

New Christmas Release by Raney Rogers

November 17, 2009

The Acorn Gallery announces a new release “Christmas at Black Bear Inn” by Raney Rogers.  “Once upon a time long ago on a snowy Christmas afternoon a beautiful horse drawn sleigh glided up to the arch to await the first passengers of the evening.  Inside the Inn joy and laughter wafted to the outside as the scent of spiced cider, the lyrical sounds of carols and stories of Christmases past filled the rooms…..Merry Christmas to all…”
